Then open Revit 2017 and open your project that was upgraded to the 2016 version (remember to place a check once again in the audit to allow the program to “audit” it as it is being upgraded) then save and close. Open it in Revit 2016 and then close it, just to make sure it opens correctly. In this example it would be release Revit 2016 (make sure to have audit checked on), then save that project and close it. If you need to upgrade a Revit project more than 1 release, ie, Revit 2015 to Revit 2017, first upgrade the project one version at a time.
